If you have extended health benefits through your work, or through an immediate family member’s employer, you may be covered for the services of a Registered Social Worker (RSW). Some extended health plans cover the services of Registered Social Workers, while others do not. In the case that your extended health benefit plan does not cover RSW clinical services, some clients have been successful in expanding their counselling coverage by asking their human resources department to cover the services of a RSW. It can also help if employees ask their employer to contact their group insurance provider directly to request this change.

Payment can be made by cash, cheque or Interac e-transfer. I also provide the option of credit card.

Cash and cheque payments can be made at the start or conclusion of your session: This is your preference.

 There is the option of choosing to purchase 6 sessions in advance at a 10% reduction in cost.  6 session packages are to be used within a 3 month period. If there are extenuating circumstances, I invite you to express your thoughts openly.

If you would like to reschedule or cancel your appointment, please inform my office 24 hours in advance of your scheduled session.

I have a 24-hour cancellation policy. Appointments cancelled with less than 24 hours notice are charged at a rate of 50% for the cost of the session and appointments cancelled with 12 hours or less are charged the full cost of the session. Missed appointments are charged the full session fee.

Please keep in mind that your session time is reserved for you. If you arrive late, we will still have to end the session at the scheduled time.

Booking an appointment can create some anxiety. I greatly respect the courage you possess to take this initial step. I am happy to offer early morning, and weekend alternatives for session times.
