About Pam Singh

I believe in the inherent ability of all human beings to heal emotionally. We all possess courage, strength, perseverance and grace to get through any obstacle we may be facing in our life. Obstacles and barriers are really opportunities for us to grow in our highest self. These core values represent who I am and how I aspire to live my life. Our core values form the cornerstones for all that we think, believe, do and accomplish. Our personal values define where we spend our time.

I am always conscious of ensuring that my behaviour reflects my inner dialogue. I have a strong ethical and moral compass which has been created, cultivated and strengthened by my faith. I always try to be as honest as possible (without harming anyone with my words) with others as well as myself. It is only with honesty that we can change the patterns that have kept us where we are. To grow and walk into our potential, we must have the courage to be completely honest with ourselves.

My approach to all things in life is to observe and listen. When we can place ourselves in that quiet place of really listening, so many doors of reflection and understanding open up. Frustration, sadness, pain and experiencing a broken heart is felt by all of us. My role is to listen with compassion, without judgement.

I strongly believe that professional accountability and adhering to professional ethics is a responsibility of every therapist. The importance of “Do No Harm” is a cornerstone of how I engage with the therapeutic process. I am always very aware of providing you an experience of healthy client-controlled change by focusing on being compassionate and sensitive to your needs.

As a young child, the feeling I attained when I contributed to helping someone provided me with the high of “being alive”. I believe I am my most authentic self when I am in that process of empowering others to live the life they envision. Every person has great strengths along with gifts and talents that are unique to them… Sometimes we lose sight of those gifts with the experiences of life. Each individual has the right to live a life full of light and unlimited potential. I want others to see their light and make those dreams a reality!

Your beliefs become your thoughts, Your thoughts become your words, Your words become your actions, Your actions become your habits, Your habits become your values, Your values become your destiny.
